Mole-crickets :
In the last four years the infestation of mole-crickets in lawns has increased in leaps and bounds. To control and eradicate these pests is somewhat of an art. They have 10 life-cycle changes in a space of 2 years and lay between 20 and 30 eggs at a time. They feed on the roots of the lawn creating brown and dead patches on the lawn. The buzzing sound is only done by males. They dig burrows under the surface of the lawn creating an uneven spongy patches. Normally small amounts of soil are visible on the lawn surface.
Army worm / lawn caterpillar
These worms are active from approximately November to May. They feed on the lawn's roots, causing brown patches and slowing down growth.
Ants
The small black Argentine ants are a major irritation both inside and outside the house. Our service does not include treating the inside of the home.
Harvester termites
These termites are very active at the end of the winter and can cause extensive damage to lawns.
